Let’s start by disassembling the carburetor.
This carburetor is in excellent condition with no corrosion. That’s reassuring.
The slide valve shows minimal wear.
The slide valve seat is barely worn either. It’s surprising to find a specimen like this.
The float looks great with no discoloration. This is definitely a quality unit.
The resin cleans up nicely when polished. That’s great to see.
I’ve polished the float chamber as well. Since the customer said no remote control is needed, we’ll leave it as is.
As always, this BST carburetor has the characteristic issue of unstable fuel level.
