Brembo master leaking, leaking… what’s this? The stopper ring is missing…

Just to be safe, I’ll measure each part’s dimensions so we can have peace of mind.

It’s not made with such a special structure. A blast of air and pop—it comes right off.

Let’s check both old and new just to be sure. Even new parts deserve extra peace of mind.

The cylinder shows signs of vertical wear.

The box doesn’t fit quite right, so I’m worried about it. I’ll shave it down to fit perfectly and install a seal.

The instructions say something like “it’ll come out, so hold it down.” That makes sense—it’s only held by the lever.

A kit with unnecessarily many parts. I’ll replace each component and we’re done.

Hoping the cylinder doesn’t come out, I’ll also lubricate the clutch side.

Let’s replace the fluid in three locations.

I’ll remove the side stand and lubricate it as well.

I’ll clean and lubricate the pedal too. I’ve adjusted the lock nut on the back from 13 mm to 12 mm across the flats.

Let’s clean the throttle. And I’ll lubricate the cable too.

The air filter is K&N, so I’ll wash it.

For now, just the rear bank spark plugs. Removing the auxiliary components and protecting things took up most of the time.
After that, a test ride and we’re finished.
