Let’s clean up the chain and lubricate it. After applying chain oil, wipe it clean for the best condition. The secret top coat ends up waxy. Just the brake and chain maintenance alone makes the bike much easier to push and pull.
We’ll lubricate the side stand. Fortunately, it hasn’t worn much. Well, it’s a recent bike after all.
The clutch feels heavy, so we checked it. Nothing seems particularly wrong. Down the road, a cable replacement might be worth considering.
The throttle was clean too.
The air filter is clean.
We replaced the spark plug. It was black even though it’s fuel-injected? After replacement, it fired right up.
We replaced the fluid and finished up. At 40,000 kilometers, it’s still running strong.
