Two years went by in a flash. We’re making some minor changes to go along with the inspection.
The owner wanted the exhaust note to be quieter or deeper, so we test-fitted various pieces to check the sound.
With multiple outlets it makes a popping sound. We went ahead and inlaid and welded it to be safe.
After swapping the handlebar, something didn’t feel quite right. The two of us looked through handlebar catalogs, but just looking at the dimensions didn’t give us a real sense of how it would feel. We decided to test with what we could adjust in the current setup first. So we’re keeping it at the same width as the original. We inlaid and test-fitted this too since we didn’t want it to break.

The thick wall helps a lot.
The way it felt riding at the inspection station was pretty good, if you ask me. Next we’ll swap out the throttle holder and cables.
