I’ll keep trying a bit more.
It shouldn’t be that complex a structure. I removed only the hydraulic lines.
There’s no metal in the structure—it’s all rough and worn.
I ran it on the lathe and gave it a light polish. The trick might be that it’s not shiny?
I was relieved to see the cylinder interior isn’t in too bad a condition.
Inside the oil passage, which looks like a jet, there’s a check ball and spring.
It all depends on the O-ring.
I measured the O-ring and ordered a replacement. The wire diameter has changed, so I’m not sure what to expect…
Both the oil seal and O-ring are NOK. I’m hoping this fixes it.
