The bottom case machining is complete, so let’s assemble the fork.
When we disassembled it, the condition was extremely poor.
At first I thought maybe it had been assembled incorrectly, but when I measured the inner diameter, it was oddly narrow.
It appears to have a raised spot, and that’s what caused the metal to become all gritty.
I wonder what happened… scary stuff.
In the end, we had to replace the inner tube as well.
On a different note, the SUNSTAR NEO Classic disc and the brushed-finish bottom case look really good together.
