Let’s start with removal and cleaning.
The intake manifold will probably stop being supplied as a part eventually, so it’s wise to source it now while we can.
One of the air cleaner side joints won’t come out, and it costs over 8,000 yen, so you need to be careful.
We’re keeping the removed parts as samples. We wanted one with an angle guide, but it came up just a bit short on overall length, so we went with standard.
The dirt level is about medium, I’d say.
We disassemble and clean it.
I noticed later there’s some damage. Well, no problem. (Just making it clear that wasn’t me.)
The overall condition is good, so we’re in the clear.
