Our milling machine is a super compact size zero. A 200 mm circular cutter is a tight fit and it’s tough, but machine tools really make a difference—you can tell when you have one versus when you don’t.

Give the counter shaft a little shake now and then. It’s a scary place where weird things can happen.
We’ll peel off the gasket, mask it, and assemble it.
Since there’s no reference standard anymore, we’re keeping the oil seal area intact and going with -1.0 mm.
