Let’s install NGC (New Generation Classic).

First, let’s do an oil change.

Even if it’s rusty, just cleaning it up once more lifts your spirits.

The exhaust GK is Suzuki’s. Exhaust gaskets come in many different types.
Some, like Kawasaki OEM, compress completely. Suzuki’s have some cushioning properties and feature a flange for better serviceability, which is nice.
Old Yoshimura catalogs had all sorts of information.
Rather than blindly using the OEM part for the original model, it’s good to think about cross-application with something more practical.

If you’re worried the fender and muffler might touch, it’s good to check and put your mind at ease.

Even at full lock, there’s no problem. Turning left and right in this state is fine too… well, probably not, but you get the idea.
We’re heading to inspection on Wednesday, but we’re still short a few parts—almost there.
