SKF&A.S.H. Let’s do an overhaul.
This is a pretty high-precision fork.
The plating looks quite nice from top to bottom. Even with OEM parts, there’s sometimes a huge variation, which can be surprising.
I forgot to take a photo of the fork oil, which was clean—my apologies.
When we swapped the wheel, the shaft stuck out a bit—something to figure out.

This is how it looks. The original collar press-fit feels quite tight. I thought it could be a bit looser, but there must be various reasons for it.
We got it to this point.
On the other side, we left it here. It’s currently at the anodizer waiting to come back.
The cock was making contact, so we had to do something about it. We made a collar and raised the rear side, and since the gap between the tank and frame looked clean, we left it that way.
You can rest assured now.
