Let’s install an Active analog meter.
The current model has the wiring layout changed to bottom exit. Since the existing bracket couldn’t be used, we installed a new one and angled it slightly for better visibility, which really improves the appearance.
The oil temperature sensor doesn’t seem to be compatible, so it’s not displaying. We’ll arrange for one. (We haven’t done it yet—sorry about that.)
It was hitting, so we went ahead and changed the layout.
This is a really bothersome part. The sidestand stopper wasn’t working, and it was banging into the muffler! We went ahead and fixed it as a service.
We made a Tetris-shaped piece on the milling machine
and installed it
then welded it, cleaned it up, painted it silver, and we’re done. Style starts from the ground up.
We also cut off the unused stopper bracket.
