We cleaned the body and performed only float chamber inspection, cleaning, and O-ring replacement.
When you do delicate work like this, you risk running into trouble.
As for why we added a filter in the first place, that’s something we’ll keep to ourselves, so we won’t go into it here.
It looks nice and clean now.
This is the initial oil-cooled maintenance. The damper has good progressive resistance and feels great.
It doesn’t look badly worn, which is reassuring.
