The GPZ900R is a rare sight at our shop.

The anodized swing arm with its subtle finish shows scratches easily, so I’m not fond of it.

It’s reassuring to align it with the width of the other parts, even if it’s just a placebo.

You shouldn’t crimp and spread it too much. Since it’s basically press-fitted, if it’s spread at all, it almost never comes off.

The chain is the reliable DID-ZVMx and the sprocket is the dependable Sunstar. With the final gear ratio change request, we try to keep the axle position from shifting too much.
Since it’s basically in two-link increments, it’s tricky. This time we moved it back, and if that doesn’t work, we can just cut it.

When mounting the tire, it seems to minimize changes if you inflate the air as close to MAX as possible and make sure to seat the bead firmly.
