The delivery date moved up unexpectedly, which was a lifesaver. However, arrival is today at 3 PM, which is cutting it pretty close.
Generous thread locker application. The manufacturer’s risk mitigation in case it comes loose might be perfect. For now, I’ll remove everything, apply just a little, and reassemble.
Since the caliper is different, I adjusted the outer diameter to 320Φ. The caliper center is slightly off, so I’ll shift it in the positive direction.
The inner diameter comes out easily, so I realized it really does come down to having the right tools.
I miscalculated the offset amount with the shim, so I ended up making two sets, and now the center is finally aligned—just some light machining left to finish.
Phew, glad that worked out.
