The polishing came out nicely. This gives us confidence.
I considered doing rear maintenance as well, but I didn’t find any significant corrosion or oil depletion.
It’s just a matter of whether or not to remove the pivot shaft.
Removing the swingarm actually seemed to make the work faster overall.
The rear suspension was somehow difficult to remove—typical XR quirk, it seemed.
All done.
