I spray on some “No-Touch” cleaner with a whoosh and let it sit for a moment.
Then just wipe it off and you’re done. Make sure to clean the engine and other parts this way.
The generator damper has hardened somewhat.
From the sound of it, the drive sprocket nut seems to be loose.
You can tell from the appearance of the nut and lock washer that it’s come loose.
We’ll replace this one. I’m the type who likes to bend a couple of tabs to lock it in place.
