There were various little issues…
 

 
Intake manifold is wide open!
 

 
Is that aluminum or something?
Is this a common leak spot?
Let’s replace the O-ring and seal and see how it goes.
 

 
Replaced the cam and clutch cable.
 

 
It’s nice that you can remove this part.
 

 
This thin spring breaks once in a while, doesn’t it?
We replaced this area just to be safe.
 

 
Is the countershaft center sleeve on the Z press-fit?
To hold the center lip of the oil seal in place,
I painstakingly made this attachment, and that’s where we are today.
We’ll finish it Wednesday and bring it in for inspection Thursday.
