Whoosh!

The upright fork lets you rotate the inner tube, so we make good use of that

Cleaning the back of the fender and mudguard is something we do for ourselves

Pop!

Grease present ★ The storage condition becomes surprisingly clear from the bearings we remove

OK

This is settled! I’m convinced

Even when we replace the wheel bearings and get everything feeling nice,
it’s not always the same across every bike.
When one part is sorted, it feels good on its own,
but there are other factors at play, so we can’t say for certain it’s lighter…
Up front, the disc, pads, and caliper always hold things back.
At the rear, the disc, pads, and caliper
plus the chain and sprocket condition come into play.
It’s pretty tricky!

Wash the caliper and replace the pads

Change the oil

The O-ring on the cap is looking tired too, so we replace it ★
The area we focus on with oil-cooled bikes is exactly where we build up parts inventory!

Bleeder caps with and without tags are always in stock ★
Man, it’s nice to have blog storage space!
The old blog is here ★
