I installed the variable resistor the other day, so all that’s left is a test ride to confirm it works
The result is… darn! Not quite right★
Since it’s a variable resistor, I can adjust it, so that part is easy
But I found out it’s not a resistance value issue—so what’s the real cause?
The tach moves, but at idle it’s all wobbly
When I dial down the resistance, idle is fine, but when I rev it, it gets wobbly again
The answer is a signal difference…
