It’s a small-displacement bike, which is rare for us★
We basically don’t handle 2-stroke or inspection-exempt bikes.
I own an oil-cooled one too and picked this up as a second bike★
It still feels like a new bike to me.
Stem/handlebar/bracket area painted and wavy
This hose came with it when I bought it.
Both sides cracked and the right one was leaking fluid.
Aluminum anodized brake hoses aren’t really recommended★
You can install them, sure,
but the ones people install themselves are generally all twisted.
Cheap lengths, awkward angles, risky routing.
DIY is great, but you absolutely need to check everything carefully.

The steering is in questionable shape too
The turn signals spun together and wouldn’t come off
Cleaned it up nicely, packed and shipped
Since I can’t put my feet down, it’s scary,
I’m planning to convert a machined fork I’m going to put on the GS1000S★
I’m putting it on hold for now.
I might electropolish the bottom and go hard with it…
Yesterday’s silver is tempting too…
