Benefits and effects
The links and swingarm on the underside of the frame are surprisingly under-maintained★
Water infiltration causes a lot of rust, and since they only operate at a fixed angle,
the bearings & spacers develop step wear in some areas,
resulting in sluggish operation.
We pack new bearings generously with Newtech NC100 for smooth operation and
reliable lubrication so they work smoothly.
If the pivot area has excessive play, we adjust the full width with shims so there’s no play and it moves smoothly up and down.
