Oil-cooled Negative-Pressure BST Carburettor Maintenance (+) OH
This maintenance service disassembles the BST four-carburettor unit individually to perform cleaning, inspection, and reassembly.
Given the age of these bikes, certain components that can only be replaced by disassembling the carburettor individually are starting to wear out.
By disassembling the unit, we can perform detailed cleaning, inspection, and lubrication of hard-to-reach areas.
Parts replaced in this maintenance menu
We adjust the fuel level both by “float level” and by “visual inspection of actual fuel level.”
We also carefully adjust the synchronization.
Main maintenance tasks
1) Disassemble, clean, and inspect all four carburettors individually
2) Components that require lubrication or replacement only when disassembled
Starter plunger, fuel jet needle seat seal, butterfly shaft, and other parts replaced and lubricated
3) Fastening bolts replaced with new ones
4) Basic O-rings and seals replaced with new ones
5) Dual-check fuel level adjustment: float level and actual visual level
6) Carburettor synchronization and idle speed adjustment
