Korima / ELLIPSE Carbon Sheet Pillar
A lightweight aero sheet pillar.
It’s thoughtfully designed so that by swapping the attachment, it fits whether it’s 26φ or 27.2φ.
But since this attachment is plastic, when it gets old it just crumbles and cracks…
Absolutely terrible! So I machined it from an aluminum rod, cut it in the middle, finished it with a milling machine
and polished it with Picol
Since it’s almost always 27.2φ, that’s mostly what I make★
I anodized it gray and it’s done!
The dimensions are fine, but it’s pretty tricky to make well, so I’m feeling a bit down about it.
I’ll keep practicing!
