The hose that was long and wavy is now nice and clean ★
Brake hoses don’t need to be any longer than necessary.
When they’re too long, they don’t look good either.
When the fork compresses, the hose can kink and try to escape, potentially contacting and damaging the radiator or oil cooler.
I’ve only heard about it, but apparently there have been cases where the hose kinked and locked up completely, causing a crash.
I’ve got it installed!
Now all that’s left is a test ride and we’re done!
