Since it’s new old stock, it’s clean and I’m happy about that.
The aluminum piston is about 0.7 to 0.8 mm smaller in diameter than the iron piston—is that because of the thermal expansion rate?
I’ve heard that some applications use iron pistons and others use aluminum pistons, so maybe the caliper body differs depending on the application.
I wonder.
