The pads are original equipment too
Even though the disc is Brembo cast iron
The braking power is weak.
The friction material hardens over time, you know…
So I cleaned all three calipers and worked the pistons
Just that alone easily takes an hour.
Chamfered the pad surface, cleaned up the pad pins, and assembled
When replacing brake pads, it’s good to clean the disc rotor with brake cleaner
It rolls better and you’d be surprised how dirty it gets.
Finally, I vented the tank to atmosphere and we’re done.
If you think the fluid is dirty… it was just a shadow from the black bodywork ★
