The rear wheel wasn’t rolling smoothly, so
we disassembled and cleaned the rear caliper,
gave it a thorough cleaning, and reassembled it.
We lightly polished the pistons and pins on the lathe.
Then we removed the rear wheel to check the bearing operation.
It was a bit stiff and pressed in too tightly, so we tapped it out.
Next, we applied low-viscosity grease to the oil seal lips on both sides.
We also cleaned the chain and oiled it. Perfect!
It’s a good idea to clean the rear disc with cleaner too.
