When the new year arrives,
it becomes disappointing again.
The beginning of 2010
Even when people say “Have a good year~♪” at year’s end,
"good things don’t just come on their own, and whether things turn out well or poorly is determined by daily accumulation.”
So I get all cynical about it.
Vague passage of time has no meaning in itself,
so every year I set goals like “I’m going to do this!” ☆
When I look at various numbers and past events,
that season was summer . . .
The year just started, but already I can see the end of 2010 not so far away,
so I drink beer.
Well, there’s blue tax filing in February and hay fever starts around March~
Then it gets hectic before Golden Week, and once things settle down the rainy season arrives,
then summer . . . my heart is moved by the sound of cicadas,
and I’m enchanted by the pleasant autumn,
then cold winter comes and it’s all over.
