The owner wanted us to check things before the engine swap.
So here’s the inspection.
The cam seizure is OK! Just a tiny bit on the number one intake side.
We adjusted the cam chain a little.
We confirmed the head bolt torque specs just to be sure ★
After adjusting the valve clearance, we checked the valve timing!
One thing that caught our attention though—the outer electrode on the spark plug is broken.
It’s not recent; it looks like the spark has been jumping.
We cranked it slowly and it seems fine, though it’s a bit nerve-wracking.
We’re moving forward with it ★
