Well then,
We hardly ever see GSX-R models around here. The customer has—
A GSF, a Bandit, or an Inazuma.
What the heck!
Swap the intake manifold for an RK one, there!
Nope, it won’t fit.
You can force it in, but—
There’s no way around it. The spigot length is the problem.
TMR has thick walls, so we can machine it shorter.
With a round tool bit, we can even shave down the lip.
So we’re figuring out how much shorter to make it—
No room for mistakes.
We also have to account for the throttle cable bracket clearance.
Perfect fit!
Nice work, if I do say so myself.
The spigot O-ring is torn.
We measured the throttle cable length and ordered a new one.
The carburettor is cleaned and the jets are checked.
That’s where we left off.
