Today’s Taste of Tsukuba wrapped up safely and enjoyably.
I think everyone was troubled by the weather.
Eighty percent chance of rain in the morning.
This won’t work… even the legendary fair-weather guy, Mr. “Shoppee,” couldn’t help with this one.
A raincoat, huh? A raincoat… I don’t have a raincoat.
So I just wore my snowboard jacket and pants… not exactly May attire.
This time I took advantage of their kindness and sheltered in their garage like a hermit crab.
I could block out the rain and wind, but still…
But thanks to the fair-weather guy’s power… the rain stopped.
By the time the second qualifying group started, the track was dry. Lucky ☆
Even helping out was easy!
It rained again after that, but the finals were almost completely dry too!
Maybe it was thanks to the oil modification on the F Zero during qualifying?
Anyway, it was a day where we stayed dry and everything finished.
It seems quite a few riders went down, so conditions were rough.
I lent out my camera today so I can’t upload photos, but I’d like to do that tomorrow or so.
I won’t be helping out at next month’s FSW, but I’d like to go along again for November’s TOT.
