Here we have a Bandit 1200.
The owner requested an inspection and maintenance.
We finished the inspection this morning, and after the owner went out for lunch, we started the maintenance work.
This is a bike in excellent condition, and I’m sure the previous owner took very good care of it.
Every time we disassembled something… wait? Huh? What?
In a good way! ★
Simply put, this bike has been maintained to a level close to Decoboco maintenance.
The grease has turned black and dirty since it was serviced quite a while ago, but
the lever and pedal pivot areas were properly greased.
The caliper pistons show no rust at all and are in great condition.
Even the side stand was disassembled and greased.
The carburetors were synchronized, and there was only a one-mark deviation…
That said, we check everything anyway.
We’ve just finished the test ride and it’s complete! ★
