This time it’s Ueno.
It’s not a place I have any real reason to visit, but there are museums and art galleries scattered throughout.
My target is the “Life and Art: Arts & Crafts Exhibition.”

The Hibiya Line goes straight to Ueno in one shot—no transfers needed, which is awesome.
I hopped on and headed to Ueno for lunch.
This time it was Chinese food.
“Chinese Restaurant Suiho”
The entrance exudes an extraordinary sense of luxury—I probably wouldn’t have stepped inside if it weren’t lunchtime.
The high ceiling is decorated like a starry sky, the floor is dyed deep crimson, and the hall staff is exceptionally attentive.
A slender Japanese woman in a dramatically slit cheongsam left me not knowing where to look.
And the quiet, spacious atmosphere was excellent.
The dishes that came out had a gentle, deep flavor rather than bold swings in taste.
