We’re continuing work on the same Bandit 1200.
We’ll synchronize the carburetors ★ At low RPM and idle, it goes “vroom” smoothly and feels great.
The synchronization screws have a spring-tension structure so they won’t come loose—
But as mileage increases, they drift out of sync.
Carbon buildup on the butterfly valves throws them off too.
Basically, they’re always drifting ★
So you might think there’s no point in adjusting them! But that’s not it.
The beauty of having all four cylinders properly synchronized ★
It just feels good.
