The parts arrived, so here’s the continuation.
We’ll replace the air cleaner element and spark plug.
The inside of the air cleaner box is pretty dirty with some fluid pooled up, probably from blowback.
Let’s wipe it clean.
Compared to the new air cleaner element, the old one is filthy.
With a new spark plug in place, now let’s synchronize the carburetors.
First, let’s check how far the PS is open and go from there.
The synchronization is a bit off, but it’s normal for it to drift, so don’t worry about it.
Now the idling is stable and perfect!
