Today I was taking the day off and planned to hit up the hot spring I’d thought up last night!
When I stepped outside this morning, it was warm… though the wind was a bit strong.
Well, anyway, before heading out I figured I’d better check if the hot spring was open.
“Hello, are you open today?”
“Yes, hello… today is our regular closure day. …”
Nooooo!
Then emails and stuff started piling up, people began gathering, and I ended up not being able to go out, and now it’s this late…
I cleaned up and did some bicycle maintenance—ended up replacing the bottom bracket bearing.
I guess days like this are telling me to just stay home.
The destination for Pokidam changed at today’s meeting…
Guess it’s gotta be the mountains!
