The Z has quite a few parts and it’s a bit of a hassle, but lately we’ve been doing a lot of them so our speed is improving.
Aligning the pickup gap, connecting wires—it doesn’t go “boom boom boom” like that.
We replace all the mounting bolts with stainless steel and put cylinder number stickers on the wires.
We also label the ignition with 1–4 and 2–3.
Before I used to write it with a marker, but it wasn’t great.
Just when I thought it was done… no battery!
