Hey there! It’s inspection time.
They want to freshen up the suspension at the same time as the inspection maintenance.
So I figured we’d tackle the front end today.
Stem bearing inspection and grease top-up
Fork oil change
Caliper cleaning and fluid replacement—let’s knock it all out today ★
The stem bearing barely has any grease left in it.
If you check it early at this mileage, you can get by without replacing it!
The steering response becomes really sharp and the bike rides so much better ■
The fork oil isn’t as dirty as I expected.
Since it’s not discolored, the fork alignment should be good.
