I quickly went to renew my license ★
This is my first time renewing at the testing center! I’ve had my license since I was 16, but I’ve been getting different licenses on about a 2-year cycle
so this is my second renewal!
Last time it was easy at the police station.
When I arrived at the testing center, they sent me all over the place!
It said “bring a photo” but I never figured out where it was actually used! They didn’t use it.
And of course I didn’t prepare one anyway.
The class was supposed to start in about 30 minutes, so I waited. I killed time organizing my system notes and picking favorite songs on my Gigabeat

The class was 2 hours long, and there’s a break after the first hour.
I suddenly realized that you could skip the first hour and nobody would know.
But in the next session you get locked in, and they stamp your attendance record after the video, so you’d get caught!
And then you get your license and you’re done. The whole thing took about 3 hours…
It was tedious, and being back in a classroom after so long, I realized I really don’t like studying.
Ugh.
