I peeled back the head cover… whoa! The inside walls are pretty black.
This must be scuffed up…

The cam chain slack is slight. I’ll retension it.
I’ll check the valve clearance now, but I’m guessing the carburetor is overflowing.
The spark plug is soaked in gasoline.
