It’s hot out! This morning I headed to the inspection and got back to the shop quick. I got the schedule sorted early and was thinking about grabbing a late lunch, so I pull out the GSF.
I wanted to ride it.
I wanted to ride it last week too, but rain came halfway through and I lost the motivation, so I left it parked. But today’s the day!
So I’m on the GSF and it’s like, where are we even going to eat?!
Well, I want udon, so the choices are three places: Sanukiya at Gakudai, Tsuru Tontan at Roppongi, or Nakagawaya at Komazawa.
Gakudai is pretty much out of the question, so that’s ruled out. Tsuru Tontan doesn’t really have a place to park the bike, so that’s out too.
Curry udon it is! So off to Komazawa… man, my silencer is loud.
The kid covers their ears. At a red light, the kid’s eyes light up as they stare at the chrome tank.
I can’t help but smile, and then they turn away with a “hmph”… that’s why I don’t like kids.
So anyway, I ended up eating cold curry. Curry is supposed to be hot, so to be honest,
it was “meh.” I don’t really feel like eating it again.
After eating, I’m a park person, so I’m thinking, where should I go? Somewhere I can park the bike where I can see it…
I really wanted to go to Todoroki Gorge, but I gave up and ended up at this pretty mediocre place called Shimizu Pond Park…
Old guys are playing shogi… they sometimes play mahjong too, so actually I wanted to come see that.
And this park allows fishing too, so I wanted to check that out…
There were two guys fishing, but it was pretty dull and boring, so I bought a Starbucks at the convenience store and listened to Birthday on my iPod while
just spacing out.
I like a shady park better than an air-conditioned room.
Well, time to change the cam. How many times have I taken this head cover off lately?
