Forced induction carburetors get pretty dirty—air funnels and sponge filters can’t catch everything.
Lots of gunk ends up sticking to them, especially around the air jet (air screw) area.
Every once in a while, I give it a quick spray of carburetor cleaner and wipe it down.
Then I start the engine and fire it up—just a little bit, but it runs noticeably better!
