I’ve been enjoying watching “Countdown TV” casually on weekends.
Fun → I get to see my favorite artists.
Discovery → When I listen to the ones I hadn’t heard before, I think, hey, that’s pretty good too.
Both combined add up to just over five minutes, and for the rest, I’m basically just watching with a blank stare.
Recently, I discovered an artist called Group Soul.
I rented it from Tsutaya and listened to it, and wow—they’re really good!
It hit me with the same shock as when I first heard Snake Man Show. (Though I didn’t experience that in real time, mind you.)
I kept playing it over and over, and one by one, people around me got infected with it. The power of information gathering through the ears is
amazing.
