If you don’t understand viscosity index, honestly it’s meaningless—you just pour it in and think “hmm, maybe this is okay?”
and end up with something vague.
So if you choose fork oil based on viscosity index, it might work out better!
Ideally, if you tell the manufacturer the viscosity index at 40 degrees and something higher than that (usually they list it at 100 degrees), they’ll give you the specs! Let’s learn this!
