Tokyo is a truly wonderful city! It’s because you can find everything there.
Even nature is something you pay to enjoy! Well, it has its ups and downs, but I’m all for it!
I don’t have time to go all the way outside the city just to say “oh, nature!” I’d rather spend that time fixing my GSF.
But it’s already impossible before Golden Week… I can’t even make it to practice on the 27th.
So I went for a walk! First, I had udon at “Tsurutontan” in Roppongi, served on a huge plate.
I devoured that udon! Delicious! And cheap too♪
Then I moved on to my favorite “Hamarikyu Gardens”! I wandered around there for a stroll.
Something was floating in the river next to it… a child??? Hmm, looking more carefully…
It’s “Winnie the Pooh.” A bear that’s turned green with moss. Gross!
Then I headed to a fishing pond in Ichigaya! Apparently they only have big fish here, so I was excited.
I gave it a try right away! I adjusted the float depth and cast… nothing worked… 30 minutes passed…
Nothing changed! I adjusted my settings. Float depth, bait size, casting technique, and so on…
It worked! I caught two in a row, and they kept biting in succession! But they managed to escape skillfully…
Four total! If everything had gone right, I would’ve caught seven to ten… The stares from the regulars across from me, college students, and kids
felt great. The harsh stares from the regulars who couldn’t catch anything with their own rods were intense.
Man, that was fun. Then I took the train to Yoyogi and walked home from there.
