I wonder if people who use cable ties for fastening replace them after a certain period of time.

What amperage are we running? Thick wires and big connectors. Hard-to-source connectors and terminals. It’s really frustrating.
When I try to think like the part and figure out where the noise is coming from… sometimes I get it, sometimes I don’t.
I’ll replace the damper just in case—process of elimination.
The fuse is in the middle of the orange wire in the image. Let’s say the right side of the fuse is battery positive.
·If there’s a short on the left side of the fuse, it cuts off.
·If it’s on the right side of the fuse, it’ll spark until the battery is dead. (Fire hazard possible)
This is common with product-included wiring, but it might be “to protect the product” and not “to protect the installation vehicle,” so please be careful.
When you think about selling products, it’s incredibly difficult. I understand why products that say “responsibility is your own, so we’re lowering the price!” are becoming common… or maybe I don’t.
I really thought, “That’s Kawasaki for you—they know how to make a business out of this.” I didn’t really want to use the kit they sell, so I spent some time patrolling the internet and found it… a choke cable with VERY GOOD dimensions.
