This is my precious GS1000s.
Though its top spot is in danger of being stolen by the GSF1200, I must say.
But my attachment to it is incomparable to the GSF!
It’s a strange GS1000s where almost everything except the frame, bodywork, and engine has been swapped out for different parts.
The design concept is not a Yoshimura GS1000s like the grassroots racers of that era.
Wheels: Dymag (RGB500 2.65-18), Campagnolo (JB Campa 4.00-18)
Brake rotors: RGB500 310Φ, RGB500 220Φ
Brake master: Brembo custom 19×18, RGA500 Φ size unknown
Brake calipers: AP CP3485-8SO (monoblock 90 mm pitch), RGB500 bench caliper
Suspension: Yoshimura KYB 40Φ, Yoshimura KYB 335B prototype custom body
Muffler: Yoshimura banana pipe (for GSX1100s)
Engine: Yoshimura ST-1 cam, 0.5 mm head surfaced, 0.5 mm oversized piston
Other: XR (factory) mag throttle, XR (factory) electric tachometer, zero-seat work, BST36 carb, etc.
To be honest, it’s slow—compared to modern bikes, that’s just how it is.
I’d appreciate it if you’d think of it as about the same speed as a stock Ninja★
The battery is just a random one I threw on for now♪
