It’s an Inazuma 1200 ☆ About 80,000 kilometers! Pretty impressive.
With oil cooling, this is no big deal—50,000 and 100,000 kilometers are the norm.
Since it was slipping, I went ahead and checked the internals.
I didn’t find anything severely worn.
Friction plate friction material hardening
Slight discoloration on the steel plates
Slight contact marks on the center hub
That’s about it.
The primary reduction is surprisingly good—there’s not much step wear either! The primary reduction has quite a bit of damper effect, and the clutch engagement is…
When it wears out too much, it can bottom out, or under partial throttle with torque applied, some make a squeaking sound.

For now, I’ll replace the friction material parts with new ones, change the large inner diameter to standard, and swap out some of the steel plates for thicker ones.
And I’ll put in a new diaphragm spring too! Then a clutch fluid change should do the trick.
