Why switch from hydraulic to wire?
Because you don’t need to change fluid!
That’s one reason, but…
The engagement is extremely smooth ★ Yeah, it’s that analog feel, you know.
You squeeze and release while engaging, and it engages exactly as much as you release.
With the stock hydraulic setup, you have to release it quite a bit before it engages.
That’s really annoying, and I don’t think it’s something you can work around with habit.
This spec has gone through a lot of changes and revisions, and the current spec is finally approved.
Both the clutch holder and wire are different from the original.
This makes the controls much easier ♪
By the way, I ordered the wrong wire and have to push it to tomorrow…
Ugh.
So I’ll drill to take my mind off it.
