The synchronization was just slightly off (around 9,500 kilometers).
While we’re at it, let’s check the “lift control valve” on the cover.

It makes a huge difference. You can definitely feel it. ★
Since the intake opening is increased, the upper-end power delivery is excellent (though the exhaust helps too).
It’s smooth right from the start and pulls with a nice “vroom” feeling. (Sorry if that’s hard to understand.)
The response is great and I think it’s a highly recommended part.
If you swap the air cleaner element for an aftermarket one, it becomes quite a hassle.
Every time you change the needle position, you have to remove the carburetor.
It’s pretty annoying. Once you get used to racing carburetors, nothing good comes of it.
Wow, it’s fast! Don’t get your hopes too high though. ★
Vacuum carburetors really are nice.
